Tillandsia plants are unique because they require no soil and obtain all their nutrients through their leaves, making them very low maintenance. However, they require regular watering, which can be done by misting the leaves with water or submerging the plant in water for about 20 minutes once a week. It’s also essential to ensure that the plant is getting enough light, but not direct sunlight which can cause the leaves to burn. Additionally, it is crucial to shake off excess water after watering and ensure they dry quickly to prevent rot.
